The following official addresses are used for e-mail communication with individual departments of our company: info@ib.pl, hd@ib.pl, biuro@ib.pl and iod@ib.pl. From 2020-03-20 all e-mails sent by our company from these addresses are electronically signed in accordance with S/MIME standard. This allows the recipient to authenticate the sender and verify integrity of these messages by checking the correctness of the electronic signature contained in them (verification of electronic S/MIME signatures is available as standard in many professional e-mail programs, e.g. Evolution, Thunderbird or MS Outlook).
In order to check the correctness of electronic signatures sent from the above-mentioned addresses. it is necessary to first put the IB Root CA certificate on the list of trusted certification authorities (so-called CA) in the recipient's e-mail program. Required configuration should be described in the documentation of the e-mail program used. The IB Root CA certificate is currently the only root CA certificate authorized by our company to authenticate its S/MIME signatures. For security reasons, before putting this certificate on the trusted CA list, we recommend checking the compliance of its data with data provided in point 3.1 of the document Infrastruktura klucza publicznego IB (the authenticity of this document is confirmed by qualified electronic signature of the person authorized to represent Informatyka Bogusławski sp. z o.o. sp.k.).
In the case of e-mails sent to our company to the above-mentioned addresses, it is possible to encrypt the transmitted content using the GPG/PGP standard and our public key placed above.
